I realized at a young age I didn’t want to do that, so now I stand on concrete and repair monotonous things five days a week. Breaking my joints instead of getting fat.

As long as you’re giving up your life for people who think less of you, it’s still the “American dream”.

Getting fat(ter) kinda sucks cause at least the limps and scrapes looked cool and give one some character.

Out there in the field has its advantages

Joke’s on life—half the time, I can lay in bed for five days a week and do the same thing!

…but there’s also half the time of CUBE…

only five days a week? there are parts of the world where there’s inordinate pride in slaving away for all seven days.

one must pity those folks who, evidently, have nothing good at home that allows them to withdraw from work.
