Daniel Micay stepped down last year [1]. Also, he was allegedly being swatted which would put anyone on edge, considering someone has already been killed over it [2] and police aren’t exactly known for treating people humanely.

Looks like there’s 16 people involved in the project [3] - excluding any external contributors, that’s definitely more than one. Granted, its probably the previous lead and the new one who have the most commits, I haven’t looked, but its still not just a single developer. That said, your concern is valid. Smaller projects are more likely to die as soon as their main contributors lose interest or stop working on it for any reason - see the end of DivestOS as a prime example [4].

Nor does it acknowledge that he “stepped down” seemingly in name alone, still having full control of the project (I’ll admit I’m fuzzier on these details, I read a compelling breakdown but I can’t first-hand corroborate so I’m not going to argue this point past saying “I hear things”).
The real bottom line is this: I’ve been part of this community for years now and have been part of his chat rooms, and have seen first hand his behaviors towards other groups and towards his own supporters and users, all prior to the alleged swatting. You will not convince me he is healthy until I see some meaningful personal acknowledgement of his past behavior.

Just re-iterating what I’ve seen online - would love some sources or evidence to what you posted as those are 100% valid criticisms if true.
I don’t really follow the drama but have seen others comment on it before. It’s the reason I try to reply to posts with sources as I hate rumors being spread and the only way to combat misinformation is to provide evidence. What you claimed is pretty damning, if you’re able to provide a soruce I would love to read and educate myself in adding more context to the situation. Thanks!
Truth be told I don’t know if I even saved any of my old screen captures of his matrix channel when he started banning anyone asking about performance for sealioning, or when he banned anyone mentioning calyx*, etc etc because by that point it became clear to pretty much everyone that he was not getting better, but thankfully others have documented it well:

Much more recently, example of supporter harassed by Daniel. Obviously he’s taken a turn for the worse here. I admit I find this guy’s recording style weird, but I watched some of his other videos and I think he stands for a lot of the right things.

You can argue that reselling phones with the work done for users is bad (I’d disagree, most people are so tech illiterate even the simple graphene install steps are beyond their comfort level) but I think the behavior is clearly toxic.
*Edit: actually I forgot, one of the rounds was being banned just for being part of both the calyx and graphene matrix groups. Like imagine you’re a new user trying to figure out which you like better. One group bans you just for joining the other channel. Yes this is what happened to me.

Appreciate the added context. Definitely a lot of history and quite a few red flags.
