It feels like this needs to be a rip the bandaid off situation. Just declare that on 1 Jan, 2026, no lead can be sold premixed in any gas, anywhere. It’s not the biggest problem in the world, but lead should absolutely not be released into the air around us.
Interesting that the main problem is that there’s too many kinds of lead free avgas, and they don’t always mix well.
