It’s ok to be ignorant to goings on in the world. But you just admitted to reacting emotionally by assuming the standpoint of the political left, so your opinion is no longer valid.
I’m not assuming the standpoint of the political left… That is the standpoint of the political left. Literally every single website and subreddit is the political left having a collective meltdown over the same exact thing. I haven’t gone on my Facebook or anything because I don’t really use those sights but I am willing to bet all of my friends and family (the political left we speak of) are having varying degrees of aforementioned meltdown.
I’m ignorant to most things going on in the world as most people are. We only have so much capacity for global situations let alone what’s going on in our own front yard. Do you claim to be aware of every single little thing going on in America let alone the world? I admitted that I have never paid much attention to the ADL and I cracked a joke as to why.
And where did I react emotionally exactly? I have emotions as I am only a human, but I don’t see this emotional reaction you speak of.
