I see cryptos as lacking a fundamental thing that can make them practically usable as anything more than a money sink, but I’m not fundamentally opposed to the idea of cryptos.
Of course we will see States going off to try to make them even less practical by fiat…
I believe all transactions should be private by default. If I give you a quarter, government cannot track that transaction. Crypto should be no different.
Then use Monero, or stick to cash
