Russia is preparing to intensify forced mobilisation in the temporarily occupied territories of Ukraine in the spring of 2025 to compensate for significant losses at the line of contact.

Ukraine’s National Resistance Center (NRC) reported that the Russians are trying to replenish their substantial battlefield losses through the forced mobilization of Ukrainian citizens in the occupied territories, as well as by recruiting migrants and mercenaries.
