    Consistently applying logic to every person no matter their situation isn’t empathy, it’s justice.

    I judge everyone on their own mistakes, not those of their parents. And boy has Elon fucked up a lot.

          I’m just tired of this one way ethical consistency. It’s bullshit and posts like this don’t always need somebody jumping in to defend the evil piece of shit.

            If you think what I posted was a defense of Elon, you need to work on your reading comprehension. In no uncertain terms, he is the worst humanity has to offer. But that’s because of his own choices, not his father’s choices.

            What I’m saying is even MORE damning because I’m taking away the excuse you’re giving him - that his problems were caused by his father’s actions.

              No, what you’re doing is sucking air out of the room by insisting that no one but you is capable of recognizing the subtle detail that Elon and Elon’s father are, in fact, actually two different people.

              It wasn’t an excuse to begin with. Does a bad childhood absolve someone of murder? Of course it doesn’t. Those details might be correlated, though.
