I’ve tried to contact Archive-It and I’m getting an error.
Original Post: In order to comply with the DEI purge, the Pentagon created a database of historical images to purge using the CTRL+F function, (CTRL+F “gay”, then delete = deletion of photos of the Enola Gay.) This information is out there.
Here is the database of 26,000 images. Some have already been purged. I’m not the most technical person but if we can save these images along with their captions and the credit to the photographers I think we would be doing a great service to our ancestors who broke barriers and our descendants who need to understand what happened here.
I’ve been saving the images and copy/pasting information under Comments in Details in Properties. There are surely better ways. What say you Protectors of the Free World?
