This is something with nostr that I’ve never quite understood. If I create a note for it to be seen, I and the other person have to share at least one relay in common? Are there any main relays that pretty much all clients and users use as one of their relays?
To be honest the state of the relays is kinda messy. We need to gather a list of common relays. But for the most part, there are a couple really important relays.
wss://relay.mostr.pub
Is a bridge with the fediverse. So I think it’s pretty important to have
How does the relay with fediverse work or where can I read more? A link with the fediverse seems obvious to me. I did not know there was a connection.
Cool. I could not really make it work and see posts from both sides, but I’ll test again. On the nostr side you need to make sure it’s s one of your relays I assume so it receives the post.
I follow a lot of accounts from the fediverse through that bridge.
So if my public key is X, what profile do in search for on the mastodon side? Reading that article I first search for my identity at https://mostr.pub/users/ . I searched for my hex public key and got this back but what do I do with this?

I was able to find myself on the nostr side searching for vamp07_at_mstdn.social@mostr.pub although the only comment that showed up was pretty old.
Probably because you were part of a conversation that was getting federated somehow. I’m not sure how to get on the list. Maybe someone on the nostr side has to follow your Fedi account.
