Got my signs printed for tomorrow. The guy at the print shop said there’s been a lot of people coming in to print them. Super stoked 💪 see you in SF
Fuck yeaaahh!!!
I was at the Washington Monument with my wife and 2 young kids this past Saturday. I plan to be there on the 19th, too. And we’ve been at the local Tesla dealership every Saturday there’s not a big event planned.
I also really appreciate mentioning this is on a weekend. As a family with two adults who work full-time and two young kids, trying to make an event during a weekday is virtually impossible.
Heck yes
I can go during the week, I take care of my elderly husband, (I am also old) but I have gotten to two of them. I will try to show up on the 19th somewhere.
I think this protest needs to become a sustained action.
Everyone, Every Day.
Go before work, go after, come on your day off.
Don’t miss work, bring extra food to hand out.
Figure out where the accessable restrooms are.
Rent a porta potty.
Whatever we can do, every day.
I’m trying to mobilize some of the local homeless to join in protesting too. A few bus passes and some lunches, and the hope that this movement will help them too.
I’m more of a follower than a leader. Is there anyone in the dfw area hosting an event this Saturday? I don’t want to create an event but I’d gladly show up.
Fort Worth has one and McKinney has one. I haven’t seen info on the Dallas location yet. The only thing I saw was recommendation to meet at City Hall. I’ll look for a link.
