Hi !
Let’s share about the community you love the most. Do you have a good discussion you enjoyed ? A nice picture ? The way your instance is managed ?
Or do you fell you are missing something ? If so, which one and why ?
Anything pretty cool you want to share about the fediverse ? :)
I really like lemmy.dbzer0.com.
The admins are very transparent and reactive, and ask feedback from the community regularly.
There’s a reason why it’s my main “Fediverse discussions” alt after all
Lemmy.zip is very nice too, cool monthly reports on !home@lemmy.zip. Well, timing is a bit unfortunate, today the instance is down due to hiccups in the 0.19.11 migration
We’re back baby! Though maybe a bit sporadically it sounds
Oh, I know!
!dadforaminute@lemmy.world is a lovely community for people that don’t have an available parent. If you need advice on car repairs, life or just need a “well done champ” there’s a group of really supportive dads poised and ready for you.
For me i kinda stopped publishing lot content because current news are draining me, so i left other publishing them. New users are participating, it’s very cool.
I admit i don’t follow english communities, i’m kinda lazy and focus on french communities. My favorite one is !interessant@jlai.lu because we talk about various topic on science, history and space…and there is lot thing we don’t know. 😋
As for the moderation, mood side i prefer !forumlibre@jlai.lu (about our daily life, cool stuff, movie, book…) and !artdufil@jlai.lu (about knitting)
I’m happy about the result we achieved, we still have a long way but the mod team is great, jlai.lu is well managed altough there are one point where i would like to improve.
The sysadmin side of jlai.lu where i’m affraid of the single point of faillure. If so, so be it. 😅
Much fewer posts at !AskUSA@discuss.online lately, but then again a lot has gone on in the USA lately too, and we’re all a bit shell shocked over it 😳.
I think the picture is fine, superb management both in community mod and instance admin capacity, so nothing missing that I can see, and even traffic is already starting to pick back up to roughly one post per day.
I’m glad that we can make the Threadiverse more welcoming, both to Reddit refugees from here wanting to talk about national stuff, and to people from outside who would rather that such stuff go to a country specific community rather than overwhelm the general ones. 😁
