How did demon core memes become so popular?

I have been cultivating demon core me-mes long before they dropped the Whoppenheimer

It’s great because someone made it such that if you put the two halves together, you die. And then some dudes then did just that, repeatedly

It wasn’t shown or mentioned in Oppenheimer though, not that I can remember.

Right but the premise of the movie would no doubt garner interest in related topics and content creators most certainly have made videos/podcast episodes/etc that coincide with the general theme of the film recently.

I mean it makes sense. Do something related to a movie that’s getting a lot of hype and people are bound to watch. A podcast I listen to did 6 2-hour episodes on the Manhatten Project earlier this summer. They always planned on doing it but I’m sure when they learned the movie was coming out is when they decided to start prepping and releasing episodes.

I had to look up “demon core” and am relieved that it’s not another poorly-named music genre

Why can it not be both? Also how did you not know about the core, and the man who played with it in cowboy boots?
