I’m too dumb to understand this or it’s more esoteric than I’m thinking.
Can someone help me get the jokes please?
- St Bernard = alcohol because cold ✅
- Dolphin = missing swimmers because they washed off ✅
- Rhino = pizza because you’re so hungry you eat a rhino ✅
- Beetle = pencil because??
- Chicken = floss because it gets stuck in your teeth ✅
- Snake = keys because??
- Cow = cereal because they give milk ✅
Snakes are able to fit into tight places, so they’d be able to easily retrieve keys that are e.g. dropped into a sewer grate. Kind of the reverse of what rescue animals tend to do though. Beetles with pencils because the teacher won’t notice them delivering you a pencil? They could also just be a bit of absurdism, but it’s kind of weird that the other ones are themed.
All of which are more useful than a dog delivering alcohol.
I’ll take the dog and rhino together please.
And maybe the chicken later, but absolutely not the dolphin.
You never been up the mountains the St Bernard live in. A wee drop of schnapps is a godsend!
