Just one person’s opinion here–I’d say post if you feel inclined to. People willing to post at all, let alone post original content are in short supply. That said, nice piece, and I hope to see more.

I completely understand. However, in my experience, I have often seen people say they were hesitant to post in the first place because people aren’t posting. People like you may help motivate others to change that. No pressure of course, you’re free to do as you please. I’m just some internet stranger, after all.
