Waaaay to early to tell, really. We’ll see how the next few hours pan out, and if I’m able to go home today.
I’m on a short business related trip. I finished City #1 yesterday, and I’m now in the airport, waiting for my ~1hr flight to City #2. I’m a night owl, so it’s a miracle that I got up in time at 0600. I’m not really a breakfast person, but there too I went against my habits. Seeing as the hotel breakfast is both good and complement, Idecided to go for it, so that it’ll last me a while.
I’m visiting my employers headquarters for the first time in ages because I have some stuff that I need to do there. If I finish early I’ll link up with a former coworker of mine who now works for the competition… I’m planning on joining him there.
If all goes according to plan, I’ll be home shortly past midnight, roughly 18 hours from now. Currently enjoying a beer while waiting.
Update, 2.5 hours later: Landed in City #2, onboard the airport express train on my way to rhe head office. I plan on getting out of therevascfast as possible - I don’t like staying there a minute more than necessary.
I’m up to 1 km of swimming. I’m still very sore at the end, but it’s real progress after about 10 days of swimming consistently.
Cheated on my diet yesterday, almost came out of ketosis. Nose dive from 2.6 to 0.8 ketones mmol/l… I get super hungry after swimming.
I’m moving my swim time up in the day so my normal clean meal comes after the swim.
You swim every day?
I try to. If I know I’ll be busy when I normally swim, I try to get in a swim earlier. The only problem is a early swim has lots of sunlight and I can get a little burned.
So far for the last 10 days I haven’t missed a day yet. Crossing my fingers
Impressive, well done!
Today is my “day off” which i use to finish my phd thesis and for some reason im feeling on top of things and focused, which is nice. Could be new medication, could be more exercise, could just be random. Wife is having a terrible migraine though, that’s a bit sad to see.
Migrains are terrible. They make me completely non-functional while going through it. Hope she feels better soon.
Great work on tackling your thesis!
