Youtube and video presenting ideas is normal human behavior mosified to match technology. Youtube is literally just the newspaper letters to the editor in the US and call in radio shows or standing on a street corner or in a park or going to community meetings etc. Youtube used to be a fun niche thing, before people realized it could be a platform for communicating their ideas. Much like pre-youtube times, a lot of the ideas floating around and gaining popularity in communities are stupid or weird or wrong.
