Supposedly, it won’t work anymore because of the upgrade of the phone system. I know there are many uses for old smart phones, but are there any for dumb phones? It’s a LG, if that matters. Possibly as an alarm is all I come up with so far.

If it has LTE I don’t know why it wouldn’t work. It is supported everywhere as far as I know and I am currently using it right now. Only 2G and 3G are being faced out since most people don’t use them anymore.

As far as usage goes you can use it as a streaming device to your TV. Get hdmi to usb-c or micro usb adapter, install all the streaming apps you want and… profit. It would be better to get an adapter with usb a and hdmi port so you can use on of those air mice.

Another option is to use it as a seedbox to, you know, seed your 100% legal Linux isos.😜

I should’ve said 2G - which was supposedly phased out almost a year ago. I think I’ll use it to make voice notes and as an alarm for the top 2 to 4 times of day I need regular reminders. It is really small so hides in a shirt pocket and I used it once to secretly record someone. Debating whether I need it at all. Its size makes it useful, i guess, for putting in a back pocket at work. Oh, the calculator is useful enough, I guess.
Without a data plan, I can’t call out or use the internet.
