The last person that the United States executed for desertion, Eddie Slovik in 1945, was tried in a military court, found guilty, and executed. I assume that Russia would have rules for the same. Yes. The last person that the United States executed for desertion, Eddie Slovik in 1945, was tried in a military court, found guilty, and executed.
