The BJP government is cozy with Israel because they buy weapons and spyware from them. India has historically recognised Palestine but pivoted onto supporting Israel’s genocide inequivocally under BJP. Their bots and supporters rim Israel at every opportunity for this reason. The rampant genocidal Islamophobia that BJP has festered is used to retroactively justify the support for Israel.
Of course the ethnonationalist state and its people and bots don’t requit this love. I don’t even know if Israel itself directly values India as an ally or not.
