The senior House Republican and close Trump ally accused Judge Arthur Engoron of “weaponized lawfare” against the former president and called on the judge to recuse himself.
It’s not even that, it’s just Elise Stefanik, a completely shameless grifter who cares about nothing but her own aggrandizement, seeing an opportunity to demonstrate fealty to Trump. She sees the end of Mike Johnson’s speakership coming around the corner and is already campaigning for the job.
I live near, but not in Elise Stefanik’s district. That means I get subjected to her horrible political ads, but can’t actually vote against her. (But at least she doesn’t represent me in Congress.)
I hope, one day, her district kicks her out so I can stop seeing her ads every few years. Sadly, her district is pretty red so I doubt she’ll be kicked to the curb anytime soon.
