Quite a lot of people still don’t know that any desktop addon will work on firefox android, so here’s a guide:

Make sure you’re using either firefox nightly (playstore), fennec (fdroid), or mull (fdroid), as regular firefox android doesn’t support this.

  1. make a firefox acc
  2. once logged in, on the firefox addons page, hover on your username > “view my collections”.
  3. add the addons you want to an addon collection
  4. go to firefox android -> settings -> about firefox (or fennec/mull) -> tap on the logo 5 times
  5. back to settings -> custom addon collection -> enter your collection id & collection name

I’m honestly not sure why mozilla even bothers with the 10 or so android specific firefox addons, when literally any desktop addon i’ve tried worked on android without issues.

edit:

just to clarify step 5: pic of where to get the collection id and collection name, when on the collections page. Name’s the title, collection id’s the string of numbers.
