I myself am 100ish hours into AC Odyssey on the Steam Deck, looking forward to getting stabby on some malakas!
Where are my ToTK folks ?
70% completion. Going for Ganondorf fight today.
I’ve been playing Grim dawn for a while. Just finished getting to lvl 96 on a spellbinder. As much as I’d like to try Diablo 4, $70 is just too steep at the moment. Maybe when it goes on sale
GD fills that Diablo need pretty darn well. I enjoy it more than Diablo 1-3, at any rate.
And if the need comes, I’m pretty sure Grim Dawn has a mod that’s just Diablo 2 anyways.
Making my way through Witcher 3 but I keep getting distracted by gwent.
No no no, that’s no distraction, that’s the main part of the game :D
Agreed, they put a game around the card game, that kept getting in the way!
Trying to finish my first full Darkest Dungeon run since starting in 2016. I never started the final DD level but completed everything else, but I feel I can’t start Darkest Dungeon II before completing the campaign in the first game.
That and probably some more Cities: Skylines 🙂
I really really wanted to like Darkest Dungeon, but either I really suck at it or there’s just too much grinding for me. I’ve gone through about 30 in-game weeks and haven’t really gotten anywhere.
It is a big grind, yes. If that’s not your cup of tea I don’t think you’ll ever grow fond of it. There’s also alot of randomness that at times feels very unfair. But for some reason, it appeals to me 🙂.
Part two is not as long, or so I read, but you still have to grind to unlock characters and skills, apparently.
Diablo 4 pretty much nonstop since release. Really enjoying it so far.
The price tag is such a burden for me but my wife and I really truly enjoyed d3 and the a lot of arpgs, grimdawn, torchlight etc. Is it genuinely worth £120 for two copies?
My wife and I bought it and we don’t regret the purchase; but also we’re doing well enough this year that is not a huge burden for us. So B like… it’s worth it generally IMO, but if it’s a burden, I can’t say that any game is worth it.
I’m happy I’m a patient gamer, I’ll definitely buy it, but will not pay full price. My partner and I are both gamers, so it’d be way too expensive for us to get it right away.
Going to finish the main campaign in Diablo 4.
Have the server issues improved at all?
I haven’t had a single issue, so I’m not sure what you mean?
Ah cool. Just have seen some posts about long server queues / downtime.
No queue at all, at most a couple of seconds loading.
There is a surprising amount of content after the main campaign, it is a lot of fun (so far).
This weekend is very busy but I’m sure I can squeeze in some Doom and Terraria (just realising that is a strange combo).
No stranger than Doom and Animal Crossing.
Tears of the Kingdom, although I might take a break for No Man’s Sky
Is there new content for NMS or you are just enjoying it at the moment?
there’s a big content drop coming soon
I haven’t been able to get into NMS. I’m thinking of giving it yet another try, since I have PCVR (there’s that major VR update).
But yeah, I’m deep into Tears of the Kingdom. 105 hours in, and I still haven’t beaten it.
If you’ve got a good PC, the VR is pretty sweet. And depending on when the last time you’ve tried it was, there’s certain to be a ton of new content.
Eyyy same for NMS. I generally just like to run around and screen shot stuff
Lots of Diablo 4 this weekend if I can actually get some free time. We’ll see about that, but that’s been my main time sink lately.
Same, can’t stop playing it when I get the chance.
I picked up Hi-Fi Rush on sale about a week ago, blew through it once, and am now working on a second play through/new game plus. Super fun game. After putting it down after playing for a while I still feel like I’m doing things to a beat for a bit.
I like hifi rush alot, its a real sleeper and i like the vibe. If you are looking for more I really recommend bullets per minute. It’s a roguelike rhythm shooter with a really baller soundtrack. It’s less forgiving than hifi rush but when you get in the zone it can be really rewarding.
I love rhythm games but not normally a fan of action arcade. Hi Fi rush is something special though and I think everyone should give it a chance.
Still Zelda. I’m 75 hours in and still completely hooked.
Just bought The Talos Principle and I really like it. I will be playing the heck out of it for the rest of the weekend.
Surprisingly good! Didn’t expect the story to unfold that way from what’s essentially a puzzle game
I’d really like to experience my first play-through again. Really awesome game.
I’ve been replaying it in anticipation of the second one coming out by the end of this year. Can’t wait!
I finally gave death stranding another shot, coming into it with a clean mindset away from all the negativity has allowed me to enjoy the slow and relaxing gameplay a lot more. It’s worth a second chance if you were negative towards it originally.
I started it like half a year ago and stopped when I had to hide from that strange black fog things. I hate stealth mechanics, so I stopped playing. May I ask if it gets better? I mean in terms that you acquire gear or abilities to not need to crawl around that black mist creatures? I am super interested in the game, exploring, doing the deliveries, seeing how the story unfolds and I really want to play it, but not if I need to play hide & seek all the time :-(
Once you unlock the blood grenades you can easily take care of the BTs, you also get more weapons that can deal with them. It’s pretty early that you can stop crouching and holding your breath to deal with them.
People have called it a “delivery simulator” as an insult to it, but honestly to me that sounds pretty freaking sweet when I need to relax after a long day.
The thing is that the marketing for it–and everything about everything Kojima does in particular–hails it as the most complex, deep, meaningful game ever. But you’re playing Philip J fucking Fry. Kojima is almost as bad as David Cage and everyone seems to be okay with it.
I’m getting into Cosmic Star Heroine on my deck. Feels like Chrono Trigger in such a great way.

Gonna piggyback the retro jrpg comment here since I’m currently playing Chained Echoes. Very clean feeling, some refreshing mechanics although it does have slightly frustrating RNG at times.
Picked up Cult of the Lamb yesterday on sale as I’ve heard nothing but good things and I’m really enjoying it so far. Told myself I’d be a kind and caring cult leader…that didn’t last long!
CotL is such a cute and disturbing game. Quite addicting as well.
I’m still missing two of the “No Damage Taken” Achievements. But neither my reaction time or patience is what it used to be. XD
Yeah I didn’t know a lot about it before I started playing, was expecting something similar to Hades. It’s definitely darker than I expected but really enjoying it so far
You can do it, Leader. We have faith in you.
