    There should be riots over this.

    Police must be held to higher standards and should not be shielded from public scrutiny.

      It’s not that simple.

      My father in-law works in the prison system, we keep that quiet, my wife uses her mother’s name, having her dads face and name released to the public, could put my family in danger.

      It could be the same for this cop.

      Nah he was undercover, pretending to be a cop that thinks the he and his mates can do what they want without facing any consequences. He played this role a little too well.

      Seriously tho, cops face a lot of stress/trauma/mental health issues in their jobs and alcoholism isn’t rare, and they very rarely injure anyone else (due to alcohol). They deserve a bit of compassion, especially considering if they seek proper mental health support that can be deemed unfit to work. And even if they do that their occupational insurance is likely to sick a private investigator onto them to try to avoid paying out
