I wanted to join the history memes community which is in lemmy.ml but I’m on lemmy.fmhy.ml. For the other communities I would just search it up and join but it doesn’t show up in search. How would I join it then?

Nope it just says theres no results
What are you using for the search string?
I’ve found that
!community-name@instance.addressworks best for cross instance community searches. The full https url gives me problems.It’s still says no results but ubergeek77 said it might be that lemmy.ml is overloaded so I’m waiting till tomorrow
I didn’t realize you were trying to sub to something from Lemmy.ml. Their instance has been up and down all day, unfortunately.
