It always seemed like most of the popular art on Reddit was based around pop-culture. That’s not really her thing, so not sure how popular it will be here.

Her name is Dominique Marriott and she paints these with a calligraphy brush. I don’t want to cross-post the same stuff everywhere, but it seems like Lemmy really needs as much content as possible at the moment. So I’m putting different pictures on different communities. Take a look at my profile if you want to see more of her work. And do say if you like it. She’d love a better option than Instagram.

Sounds like an excellent way to crush a boring weeknight after supper. Thank you for your suggestions, I will certainly let the AI Gods have a say, just still love the original though ;)

Just reread my comment and realized I didn’t say anything about the original image at all. I just latched on to the tattoo comment.

I am personally unable to create anything even remotely as good as OPs very talented girlfriend and the ability to create something so instantly recognizable and beautiful with just a few lines is just incredible to me. The ability to see the absolute minimally needed to convey your vision shows real talent. I like it a lot and I’m sure that many more will agree with me.

I was just trying to say that there is a way for us artistically challenged people to transform an idea in to something that does not look like crap. Sorry for not explaining earlier, I realize now that my earlier comment implies that an AI tool could create something better and that was not my intention at all. It is just a tool that can create some interesting results without the need for artistic talent. It can be a good way to create a base to convey to a tattoo artist what you want, especially if you can’t find examples to show and are unable to create something that does not look like a kindergarten finger painting gone horribly wrong.

Thanks for replying and reminding me to say something about the actual post.
