You’re right. When I read that I literally thought “Oh, you can’t be reasoned with” because he’s not thinking about the situation anymore, he’s just mad and spouting conservative buzzwords. Everyone has heard about parents and such getting way too into children’s sports, but this is beyond abhorrent.
