Hi guys, I run intercambio with OrangeFren and I wanted to do a very full presentation.

Intercambio is an exchange aggregator

If you’re tired to find liquidity providers, our front-end is doing it for you. Put an amount to swap and a monero address to receive, we will display the swap and sourcing it.

Intercambio is an exchange aggregator like many others, but focused on privacy

We do everything to keep users anonymous:

  • A Tor & I2P hidden-service access, without logging (IP, user-agent ect…) or JavaScript (the clearnet access is protected by Cloudflare so be sure to use the hidden services for this feature). Image
  • Never KYC filter, to ensure no KYC procedures because selected exchanges will not
We’re also doing good user experience and swap features.

We’re trying to mix privacy with utility and a easy-to-use interface:

  • Providing multi-hop swaps. If you can’t find a swap from a crypto to an other, we will split the swap (For example: ETH on BNB ➡️ LTC ➡️ XMR).
  • A Trade tab is available if you’re running bulk swaps to follow their status. Image
We’re featured on a lot of places !
We donate to projects building for privacy

May I ask why OrangeFren uses cloudflare? If any privacy service utilizes cludflare, I typically run away as fast as I can.

We use it as a dDoS/scrap protection while planning to move for basedflare, however I understand your worries that’s why we have a hidden-service (not cloudflare protected).

Honestly, I had a feeling this would be the reply. I can maybe understand that for non-privacy-focused services advertising to “Normie’s” on clearnet.

But then why not defer the launch until you got it working with basedflare?

Moreover, why LEAD with the clearnet links, here of all places. Monero peeps are surely familiar with Tor and TAILS. At a far greater rate than the avg public, and use it when and wherever possible.

All of your links above are clearnet. Lead with the .onion hidden services here. Makes more sense and seems common sense to me. (Edit to clarify: the tor and i2p links ARE included, but below the fold in the body. The clear net links are led much more strongly with)

Sorry if I didn’t mandatory put the hidden-service on the presentation, since probably a lot of people here aren’t using Tor (I do it anyway). We recently found basedflare and as said before, if someone wants a NoJS and NoLog experience, it just needs to use our hidden-service (it’s made for that it not goes trough the reverse proxy ect). If the service makes profits, we can expect a bigger infrastructure with dedicated captcha solution but for the moment we can’t

            Understood.

Maybe edit the post to make the .onion hiddems service links at top, and the clearmet links down bottom with a disclaimer that they use cloudflare for now?

Also, if you type the full URL instead of using embed links, users will not be surprised if they click it and it opens on clearnet.

Best luck with it. Thanks for the reply.

And to follow-up, this is not meant as an attack. I love people building out more tools for the community and am grateful for it. As I said elsewhere in this very thread, I have used and recommended OrangeFren in the past.

But when common sense stuff gets missed it makes me wonder about the thoughtfulness of the people providing the service.

Even if not malicious, If basics are missed in communication, what else is missed on the back end I don’t know about?
