Yes, it’s mostly the sum of your upvotes. Anything over a few hundred is useless, it helps see if you’re a bot to prevent you from posting to big subs
The only point of karma and account age is to be able to post in subreddits that have minimum karma requirements and so people don’t think you’re a shill. But if you don’t plan to post anymore, there’s not anything to regret.

I didn’t delete mine yet, but I know that I have 5.4K karma. No idea if it’s a lot, what to do with it or what it does.
I have roughly 26,000, which is honestly pretty sad. At the very most, all it does is allow you to post on certain subs. It can act sort of like captcha. Otherwise, it does absolutely nothing but encourage addiction.

I already deleted all the content. I’ll probably have to keep it intact for a bit until some people I PM switch to using my email to contact me. After that, it’s gone. Turned to ash.
