CHIPS Act running into more problems.

US Govt’s sluggish Chips Act payouts slam the breaks on Samsung’s fab — company delays mass production at Texas fab to await further CHIPS funding::Samsung’s Texas fab will be operational in 2024, but won’t have mass production capability until 2025 at the earliest.

    What?! Government is slow and picks winners and losers? Wild. /s

    Honestly though looking through both the IRA and CHIPS acts I have a real concern that there is just so many faucets through so many pipes that not enough of the money will actually make it to wrench turners and hands on keyboards.
