That’s very true. Very sad, though it still doesn’t excuse bad behavior. I get it, I do. I had that monkey on my back for decades. But that was my choice, not other people’s, which meant it was my obligation to be a good smoker and be respectful of public spaces in particular, and shared spaces in general.

About that last point… Even something basic as sugar is addictive as hell. We just don’t notice because it’s in everything we eat.
I decided to cut out sugar from my drinks and found myself genuinely addicted to milk. I wondered why that was and decided to check what milk contains. Turns out milk contains trace amounts of natural sugars!
