i will continue doing piracy i think
Damn I knew shit was bad but i had no idea it was this bad
It’s worse in the US than other places. In some countries some stuff is still on Netflix.
For examples, in most of the world Hulu has never existed. It’s just merged into Disney+. Disney+ has a section with a different name for the hulu stuff.
Max is weird, since it exists in some countries but not in others due to previous licensing agreements.
Same for Paramount+ but it’s even less countries.
Peacock is only in the US. Other countries get its stuff on Netflix I assume.
For prime let’s be honest, most people get it for delivery not the video service.
For Starz afaik all of its stuff is on Prime outside the US.
Anime is separated between Crunchyroll which has the majority, Disney+, Netflix and some minor presence on Amazon (I think the latter has stopped licensing anime but idk for sure). There used to be Funimation but Crunchyroll bought it. Oh, there’s also HiDive I guess, but it’s a very minor player.
Personally (as a USian) i just check Netflix, and if it’s not on Netflix I shrug, give it an “ah well, i tried” and boot up my VPN
I love the dunkey videos that blur the line this hard
Piracy has never been more satisfying. I put 200+ GB of Charmed (lol) on a drive connected to Plex for my girlfriend and the sheer joy and convenience of that alone is worth the small price of a VPN. Now that you mention it, I’m gonna go grab Pokemon rn
I don’t know if Pokemon is worth it
I mean… It costs me zero dollars to pirate, and the VPN has paid itself off hundreds of times over at this point
I think it’s a waste of storage tbh
I’m not using the storage for anything else lul
“Everyone should pirate because now I can watch charmed and Pokémon ANY TIME I WANT”
If you’re already paying for streaming services, might as well switch to renting a seedbox. It’s been relatively painless for me, a few hours of setup with jellyfin, radarr, sonarr, and a torrent client + indexer. Jellyfin has a Roku app that works pretty well for streaming.
