Yeah argentinas claim is dumb sure, but the wars that the britiah carried out were at a scale that doesn’t even compare to the Falklands invasion, and the British didn’t even care about rationalizing a claim. The antarctic claim I think it’s fair, it’s unpopulated and Argentina is right there. There are a bunch of countries who claim it as well so they are not alone. It’s just a matter of whose going to occupy it.

I don’t really get what you are saying the UK won, what can you say about it? Most Brits think of the Falkland Islands even less than Ireland.
