Using surveys, cognitive tests and brain imaging, researchers have identified a type of depression that affects about a quarter of patients. The goal is to diagnose and treat the condition more precisely.
It would be incredible if researchers found a way to overcome this hurdle. Going through a long process to find what works is a massive pain that can involve lots of negative side-effects.
Not to mention that some of those side effects can be seriously dangerous.
