The U.S. Coast Guard announced on Sunday that it has launched a marine board of investigation into the Titan submersible implosion.
The goal is to determine the disaster’s cause. The board also can recommend pursuit of civil or criminal sanctions if it sees fit.
Capitalism.
They should use the money I just saved them on putting together an whole inquiry to get more Aldi brand carbon fiber and send more billionaires to the bottom of the ocean.
What does any of this have to do with capitalism? If it was the company’s goal to maximize profit and cut costs I don’t think they would have put their CEO on this. It seems like a passion project with questionable engineering practices that backfired.
Now that’s a sound investment!
