Yet the only false claim they mentioned is this which has also been reported elsewhere in which the famillies are still fighting for a full investigation

Israel’s Channel 12 news reported on footage and voice recordings it obtained from a police helicopter on October 7 that appear to show a tank firing upon the Cohen house, causing an explosion that sent pillars of smoke into the sky. An officer in the helicopter can be heard exclaiming, “Wow, there was firing!”

“According to the evidence, the shooting of the tank was fatal and killed many hostages in addition to the terrorists,” the families wrote, demanding a "comprehensive and transparent investigation into the decisions and actions that led to this tragic outcome.”

Their false claim is about the Nova Festival, not about the tank in Kibbutz Be’eri.

      • A group that analyzes video locations said the video was not filmed at the site of the Tribe of Nova music festival, where more than 200 people were killed during Hamas’ Oct. 7 attacks in Israel.
      • We found no evidence to support claims that the video clip showed the Israel Defense Forces killing people at an Oct. 7 concert in Israel.

Thanks for the link, at least politifact has links to view.

Politifact links this electronic intifada article which uses the testimony of survivor Yasmin Porat and this Haaretz article among others as evidence of friendly fire. I don’t see the video mentioned as evidence here. It seems like the only source provided for the video not showing any friendly fire is from an IDF spokesperson. So I can’t say either way without more independent verification.

I did find this electronic intifada article which does show some Twitter posts with the video. The Twitter posts do falsely claim that the video is about the NOVA Festival. The article also states:

As The Times of Israel reported on 15 October, the army published video claiming it shows “helicopter gunships striking Hamas terrorists as they streamed across the breached border from Gaza” on 7 October

I do agree that it’s irresponsible to show those tweets without clarifying the video isn’t about the NOVA Festival. But I don’t see any Electronic Intifada article stating “Footage from Israeli helicopter shows the IDF killing many people at October 7 concert in Israel.” from what I found
