This just in: water is wet, the sky is blue, and cats and dogs generally don’t get along very well. More at 11.

cats and dogs generally don’t get along very well

We know from our own experience that this is not true.

And investigations like the linked article are very important imho, even though they aren’t too surprisingunfortunately.

Headline: Murder victims often don’t get a chance to speak up in court. (This was an actual headline…).

Umm YEAH, here’s the thing. They’re a corporate tech giant. Of COURSE they put profits before patients, that’s the business model of every corporation. It’s like my friend who works in Hollywood getting disgrunted and one day he said to me, “I’m so disillusioned, it’s all about making money.” Well no duh! What else WOULD it be about for them???

Most companies are primarily concerned with profit first, they have to be to survive. Only non-profits really have the focus more on people than on making money, they have the luxury but even those are often governed by profit-making boards.
