Conservative LGBTQ+ people make the mistake of thinking their richness or whiteness outweighs their LGBTQ±ness in the eyes of their fellow conservatives.
It does not. You are being kept around as a trophy. You are who they are referring to in “Some of my best friends are gay!”
The instant it’s no longer expedient to have a gay friend nearby, you’ll be dumped.
Wealth does matter more; they just have less than the bigots.

LGBTQ conservatives, reacting to the video, said DeSantis had shown his true colors as an “anti-LGBT champion,” undermining his arguments that his support for the policies were about protecting children and parents’ rights.
You will be surprised (or not) at how many LGBTQ people are just straight up racists that love the right wing policies. They just don’t realize (or care) that they are targets by those same groups too.

LGBTQ conservatives continue to be the dumbest people I can imagine.
They were in the same place then as conservative LGBT+ people are now. There was no Final Solution yet. They didn’t think they were those kind of Jews. And if the GOP gets their way and queer people start getting rounded up, they will realize they were those kind of queer people.
The difference is that there Jews for Hitler didn’t have the benefit of history being written already. So they were actually less stupid.
It’s not the only genocide in history, and it’s not the only one that had quislings either.
LGBTQ conservatives in the US are absolute morons.
Add blacks to that list… And Hispanic… And women… Actually white people too since they are all just being used to gift money from.

Every single modern republican has been mislead.
He wasn’t hardcore anti-queer until the last few years.

A lot of them probably did because the right openly accepted non-white and LGBTQ+ people into their ranks when they all banded together to oppose the lockdowns. They were absolutely right to do so then, but now the pendulum of oppression has swung the other way, so they’ll abandon the right and go to the left until the left does something else insane.
We desperately need an independent third party in the U.S.
They absolutely did not accept non-white and LGBTQ people during COVID, the COVID era was the Trump Administration. Lockdowns were a Trump policy and it was specifically because he didn’t do enough early enough to contain infections.
Yep. He probably couldn’t care about that community until he realized that hating it got ratings up with hateful conservatives.
The whole GOP used hate-based politics for decades. Absolutely none of this is shiny and new!

I think people sometimes fail to realize the only reason LGBTQ folks are assumed to be liberal/left-leaning is because that’s the only side that hasn’t been advocating for at least light genocide for ages. It has nothing to do with being non-straight, and everything to do with historical/cultural context. So of course there are gay fascists. You can find idiots and assholes in any group.
Gotta love the “Well, they wouldn’t do that to me, I’m one of the good ones!” attitude these people take. Like, you weren’t ‘mislead’ by DeathSentence, he told you exactly what he was going to do.
