I recently deconverted last year. During the process, I learned to be skeptic on supernatural events after watching debates and some episodes in AXP.

That’s just me after deconversion, so I’m not sure if all exchristians are the same. I’m wondering if there are exchristians who believe in other supernatural things like ghosts? Or aliens?

Nothing supernatural at all in my case. Also, I don’t consider that aliens are part of the supernatural, it is very likely that some form of alien life (even if just microbial / unicellular) exists, existed, or will exist somewhere else; it is an inconceivably large universe we live in, both in time and space. That is what I believe about that, but forget about superstitions, ghosts, spirits, the evil eye and all that.

As human beings we tend to personify things. We used to describe the winds and the seasons, etc. as gods. This is useful when you don’t have meteorology and you need to describe what is going to happen and why. Just because we no longer talk about the winds and seasons in terms of gods doesn’t mean those forces went away. I think a lot of these ancient people, if you were to bring them into the modern age and describe how we view gods and the supernatural, might find our ideas a little silly.
