I made the mistake of taking a niacin tablet from my parents’ medicine cabinet when I was 13 or so. Thereafter, my metabolism went into such overdrive that my skin began to burn from the heat, I flushed throughout my body, and my heart began to POUND in my ears. I went into a panic over it while my parents laughed at me, but the effect went away maybe 20 minutes later.
i think the flushing is from prostaglandin
The flush is well known in niacin.
“Vitamin B” for those who haven’t taken too many five hour energies and experienced heart palpitations.
Niacin is Vitamin B3. There are 7 other B vitamins.
pedantry is a nuisance
I just think we should be precise in our language when it comes to medical and health statements.
LOL who needs to separate between “apple”, “watermelon”, and “kiwi”? They are all fruit. You don’t have to be pedantic, mang.
I’ve already been buried for my opinion, you aren’t adding anything but an insult.
“Opinion” may be generous here.
