Mind your business.
Karl Marx says that labor is a commodity. A special type of commodity in capitalism. That is not that author’s views, but Marx’s views, which he is debunking. It is clear some people have reading comprehension problems.
Greg Abbott does not grandstand on the subject of illegal immigration. He embarrassed the Biden administration by doing what the federal government didn’t do. Why do you think Kamala flip-flopped on immigration? The mainstream media coined her the border czar before her run to replace Biden. Now the mainstream media is saying she was never a border czar; a title they created for the laymen to understand.
Oh yeah, quote Marx for us. Open up the book of Marx and read us scripture relating to this topic.
So his own labor is not a commodity then, or is it? You think the author does not know the plumber owns his own labor? That is the point of bringing up the plumber as an example. If labor is an undervalued commodity, then the plumber is selling his labor at a loss in a capitalist system. I understand the point quite well. Apparently, some people don’t get it, and it is not a difficult thing to understand. If the self-employed plumber is losing money due to his own labor, then he isn’t making a profit. Simple example of the contradiction.
Democrats want maximum birth control in case the condom breaks. In case their contraceptive pills fails, or they forgot to get either one in the heat of the moment. Abortion is the fail-safe in removing the expense, and inconvenience to a happy life. Kids = ::sad face::
Segment of democrats are socialist and that is acceptable.
More like paranoia about technology and the robber barons behind it. This is why EU will never lead in tech because they always strangle it. Singapore’s approach to AI is very different.
When you got Shock & Awe Cheney and Putin giving their public support behind one candidate, reasonable people know who not to vote for.
Politics does play a factor, but it is not the only factor. How much your money buys is multifactorial. Florida & Texas have similar politics, but Texas is better overall for your savings/value. Even if Florida is a low tax state; lower taxes than Texas, Texas has better overall geography, which includes natural resources. Many people don’t know that Florida has a state minimum wage that is expected to reach the legislated minimum of $15/hr. Texas has no state minimum wage. Nevertheless, Texas has a lower cost, and higher median wages. The ability to build housing involves political will against property owners who want more expensive properties to sell in the future. In California, the people are protective of their properties, and houses as an investment. The local governments protect those properties in their appraisal growth. For some bureaucratic reasons, California, and their local governments don’t do a comparable job in housing people compared to other states/cities. Regulations are often politicized, so yeah, politics is a factor.
Going for scraps are we?
Point out his lies. He lies far less than Joe Biden.
Harris is Biden 2.0, which makes her predictable. Trump has a greater tendency to ignore his staffers, and advisors who are part of the Deep State. Putin can’t predict a Trump administration with the same confidence. Putin understands Trump is a minor outlier inside US foreign policy, which is contolled by the establishment. For example, look at the Wikipedia resume of a guy like Bill Burns who has worked under many presidents.
There is no point in defending Kamala. I can tell by the stupid stuff she says she never ran a business in her entire life. Kamala is not fit for command. Felon Trump is better than Kamala. He is a businessman. Kamala has no business in the business of business. Vote Trump if you knew what is best for you. All democrats have is Trump is a felon. The disaster that Joe Biden is, and Kamala’s unoriginal ideas of meddling in people’s lives with unnecessary federal laws, which the states can, do, and already did with left wing policies, Kamala is unnecessary. I don’t think she ever worked at McDonald’s either, like she claimed she did. Then she steals some of Trump’s ideas. America does not need Kamala. Vote Trump, because we have no choice. Taxation reduces economic output. There is monumental evidence that tax cuts work and are often employed to stir up investment. Even blue states, and blue cities, use tax cuts. Democrat economy theory of taxation increasing economic prosperity is voodoo economics. Look at Joe Biden economic policies in trying to engineer the economy with tax credits for his futile micromanaged boondoggles. Even Joe Biden uses tax breaks. You are pissing against hurricane force winds and getting your face wet with your Democrat economic theories that are meant to confuse the low level electorate into voting for them, including the hope they get their union perks, 50 dollar minimum wage, and abortions, whatever they can get. What we need to do is stack the court with libertarians and right-wingers, and make sure democrats don’t interfere with state laws and the culture of those states ever again. Save America, vote Trump. There is nobody else.
Actually, Texas is retaining the most people that relocate in the whole US. Once a person moves to Texas, it is extremely likely they will die a Texan. Also, Florida and Texas gain more high income earners than other states.
It is about protecting the sanctity of human life. Most abortions are used as birth control because they are unwanted liabilities. They are not even considered investments into civilization. I give 2 anecdotes of two “accidents” that graduated from high school early and went on to go with productive lives. These two “accidents” are good for civilization, not bad. From the perspective of selfishness and lack of sense of duty, it is always what we want versus what we need. That is the problem with democrat thinking, and why they don’t know how to run a government. It is why the issue comes up that younger generations have to pay more for less service because social services are burdened on younger generations than the people who actually benefitted from it. Abortion actually weakens democrat states in the long term because their fertility rates are even lower and if they leave Republican states because of abortion, it simply purifies the state from people who are for their own interests over the collective interest of the state. That is not to say that abortion is an inherently bad policy, but you apply the when, and where, you need it. For example, overpopulation can be a problem; a strain on resources. Red states are already gaining population increases due to immigration, bringing in more wealth, and higher incomes, than they are losing. Population, wealth, and high incomes are the necessary ingredients for a powerful state. This is true in international politics, and no different in competing states within a union.
Correct. Labor is the most valuable natural resource on Earth.
I said spending is an aggregate measure of GDP. You can’t even debate honestly and imply you are honest by saying other people are dishonest. It is best you are covered with a veil and blocked. Labor itself isn’t value. Value is the end product. Every country has labor. The productivity of that labor is not equal. This is what leftist don’t understand about the price of labor; it is not due to the labor itself, but the value that comes out the other end. This is why labor is unequal… and why your statement is nonsensical. No point in debating somebody in economics when they don’t know how an economy works. I am not going to waste my time, when blocking is much more efficient.
Kroger and Albertsons don’t dominate the grocery market. A monopoly is a company that is in a market devoid of competition. Who shops at Krogers or Albertson’s these days? I haven’t stepped into either one in decades. Hyperbole and hysteria creation is all this is. If they do manage to merge, it doesn’t bother me one bit because I will never shop there. The article is correct. The only people who care are capitalist-haters and zealous bureaucrats.
Including American citizens in the cost of illegal immigrants is dishonest.
It is actually honest. You measure what is paid in versus paid out. Many immigrants come with children. Those people need education services immediately if they are to assimilate into the flow of productivity. They also take healthcare dollars. These are all legitimate costs. Law enforcement costs money and pulled away from normal operation. Immigrants need to be processed. Property owners pay taxes to have law enforcement to protect property. Again, all legitimate costs. But let us examine your logic, if migrants didn’t generate net revenues positively in their country of origin, what makes you think they generate a net positive in the new host country? If they didn’t generate a net positive for their country of origin, like a failed state like Venezuela, by which evidence do you use to determine they are indeed productive enough? Furthermore, why do municipalities like NYC have to cut services? Why do they have to evict migrants from shelters? The coordination and logistics of feeding them and find them shelter, getting them the proper healthcare, all at no cost to them. Resources are not unlimited and because of that, these new peoples drive up spending that has to be paid for by the native or local populations. If the federal government does not want to fulfill its immigration policy with federal dollars, offload the costs to local governments, what does that say about the scarcity of resources?
Left-wingers are correct that unfettered immigration boosts GDP, because it boosts total spending, even if it means most of it is by taxpayers paying for these new peoples. Using their logic, we should take in all the people in poverty in the world, and boost the GDP to astronomical levels by funding all of it.
Toll roads are meant to control traffic congestion. Florida has many of them because tourist flood the state driving on their highways. This generates revenues from tourist instead of only from Floridians, while influencing traffic at the same time. NYC tried to do that for traffic congestion in Manhattan. They wanted revenues from New Jersey drivers who go to Manhattan. Toll roads can be good for truckers hauling freight, as less congestion means making time and safer.
