I’d also check out Tom Morello’s most recent projects. He was with RATM, as you probably know, but he’s a fantastic musician on his own as well.
It started with the guy, yeah. They’re allowing him on the platform and people are rightfully angry about it, but moderation isn’t listening to any of us and is showing their ass like you said. I’m not 100% briefed on the situation either because I don’t use Bluesky as much anymore, but that’s the gist of it.

Bluesky moderation is allowing blatant transphobes to take residence on their platform now and banning trans people for retaliating against transphobia. Basically going the same direction as Twitter and Tumblr. I don’t see any way this can go but badly unless moderation starts listening to us. You know the old adage, “once you start allowing Nazis in your bar it becomes a Nazi bar,” if you get what I mean. It’s a shame because Bluesky had so much potential, but of course, trans folx can’t have anything nice.
Okay when I heard “history repeats itself” I was really hoping we were mostly talking about shit that happened way back when, not 4 fucking years ago. This is embarrassingly soon for another pandemic. Especially considering the first one never fucking ended.
