I haven’t seen them all, but I told everyone in my circle to please watch The Amazing Maurice. It’s a good adaptation, not a great one, but if enough people would go and watch it legally, there’s a higher chance more adaptations will come and it could be a win for all.

Please give The Amazing Maurice a chance. He only needs one. Or two.

Bojack Horseman. They managed to wrap it up in a neat-ish way, but I do believe that the show would have benefited from having one more season to delve into Bojack’s issues with his father (they’ve covered his mother).

As to his lilting speech - you’re right, it used to be less pronounced, but over time it became part of his brand and it’s just so entertaining. I love the cadence, love the “you are after all the (rhyming word) of your (foodstuff)”. He has great recipes, perfect for every day meals, this chisaupepo, for example, is in heavy rotation in my household.

Maybe because most people are wary of giving something that might induce an eating disorder. Having said that, I’ve tried only consuming clear liquids for 4 days in a safe, controlled environment. I was cranky and thinking about solid food the whole time, basically planning my first meal to break the fast. But I survived with no lasting health consequences.

I have recency bias with The Colour of Magic, reread it fairly recently and it’s quite brilliant, although the first 10-15 pages were difficult to get through because they were somehow opaque. So many characters I just met talking to each other and about each other, and it was often unclear to me who or what they were talking about. Then Twoflower arrived and saved it.
