Reminds me of when I had a summer job in a Steel Mill. Two hotdogs for a dollar from a vending machine (AVI). I’d eat that almost every day.
Besides money, a great way to support your parents is to stay in touch. It took me way too long to realize that I can call my mom just to say hello and have a quick chat.
Now I try to call and check in as much as possible. During most of those calls are when I find out if there is anything else that they need. Without those conversations, though it would never come up, since they don’t want to bother me.
This just makes me think of the ending of the show Dinosaurs.

For servers VGA is still like the standard. I always make sure to have a VGA monitor.

Nester DC. My first introduction to a Dream Cast and wow, what a ride. It was amazing being able to replay all the games from the NES that I thought had vanished into the past.
This was 2001-02ish, so well before streaming and online emulators were really well known.
I am in the US. Cinnamon Toast Crunch is my absolute favorite followed by Cap’n Crunch Peanut Butter Crunch. I haven’t has either in years and I’m not even sure they still make PB Crunch.

Banjo Threeie. Playing through those first two games with my younger brother are some great memories. I would convince him to take a week vacation so we could play through it uninterrupted.

Yeah, I think I would take it. Although, it seems like some of life’s joy would be lost because you would never get to experience that good that comes after feeling bad.
