Even getting the parts for a computer to work right was an ordeal. You could spend months researching parts and power supplies and cases then it only beeps or whirs when you try to boot.
Not to mention installing Windows required boot floppies before you could put in the install CD. Remember Win95/Win98 bootdisks we kept in our backpacks for emergencies?
Remember borrowing time on the mainframe or programming on a punch card (granted, I was in Junior high when I did that)?
I noticed that a few weeks ago, too! Buster’s signs run on Windows (one near me had failed and Edge was displaying an MS error page)

Used to homebrew. At first I thought it’d be cheaper than buying my own beer but it quickly ratcheted-up with grain mills, larger and larger pots and burners, finding places to store the fermenting/aging beer, finding time to brew, finding time to bottle/keg, the clean-up and mess…and, in certain cases, you go through the whole process to find an entire batch has been ruined.
Sounds just like the US with TX and FL as the epicenter.

I use it regularly and haven’t had any issues. It’s one of my favorite extensions. Granted, even at work, I don’t have hundreds of tabs open. It’s unfortunate, if development of this extension is dead - I’m interested in alternatives, as well

In my area of Upstate NY: Buffalo wings, Chicken French, Abbotts frozen custard, and Garbage Plates.
Buffalo wings are obvious.
Chicken French is a breaded chicken breast cutlet in a white wine/lemon sauce
Frozen custard is like ice cream but made with eggs…like a custard :-)
And Garbage Plates? Personally I prefer a white hot dog, a red hot dog, mac salad, and tater tots. All covered in onions, ketchup, mustard, and a spicy meat sauce. Like the Dubliner above (and the Buffalo wings), a Garbage Plate goes best with a couple beers.
Now I have munchies!
