Do you have the ability to request new books in your library so that that way you could get things you are into? There’s also always shadow libraries.

Dude I had no idea implants for chickens existed that’s insane. If I ever got chickens we would be matching.
Heresy but I’d eat them if I had rescue hens that weren’t interested in eating them. Would probably feed them back their shells though.
Yeah I assume the reason there isn’t is because the general ones are US-centric by default and then everyone else has to have somewhere specific to go. But I guess if they want their own dedicated place too why not?
National pride ✨
We’re paying them to produce this pollution.
It is a little annoying to see the volume of food they can eat but it’s always going to be annoying. I’m a little taller than average so my maintenance is closer to 2100 at the moment but I still look at my brother needing 2700 and get jealous. At the end of the day you’d both be hungry eating under your maintenance.
It’s the plagues.
Just read reviews?
A lot of romance novels. Not too surprising I guess.
Woah you were busy
For the reasons you mentioned about the quietness of it it wasn’t really for me. I went into the movie hoping not necessarily for action but for a little more sciencey stuff and it didn’t really have that or explain anything. As you said, the sci-fi element is just dressing - it could easily have been set in any other sort of world.
I’ve read both but Animal Farm was for school so naturally I didn’t like it. 1984 was great not just as an interesting read but to understand all of the cultural (and culture war) references to it.
That should definitely be illegal.
I don’t think they’ll stop until they have the whole historic area of Israel (which includes more than just Palestine.) Crazy that this is allowed.
Blasphemy but you can always Google if you just wanna know one thing but can’t finish. I did to the WoT and don’t regret it.
Same man. I generally thought the first book was entertaining but it was not long into book two that I was permanently annoyed and just couldn’t get even a quarter into book 3.
I second Boox as a decent option (though less polished.) Allowed me to get rid of my dumbass Kindle and Kobo dual set up because if there was a book that was exclusively on the Kindle store I can now just get it in the app rather than owning a whole other ereader. The only thing I don’t like about it is it is not as good as either Kobo or Kindle for dictionary lookups. This is especially important to me because I read in foreign languages and need it to be able to either give me a definition or translate it no matter how it’s conjugated. I have found the Kindle app for Android though works pretty well for that purpose so there is an ok solution.
I’m guessing most of the Beehaws at least have duplicates since they cut themselves off.
