There’s a vegan restaurant near me and the entire menu is imitation meat. Meals are $10-15. I haven’t bothered trying the restaurant.

Honestly one of my favorite features. Lemmy would be nearly unusable for me without it.
Is it the nearly flat roof that makes you say that? It looks like maybe 4 inch rise across eight feet, so a 1:24 pitch. “Roof felt” was the only roof covering I saw. Oh and they lined up all the siding seams which probably isn’t great.
Yes, the used ones are still pretty good though. I think the ID3 and ID4 are the successors to the eGolf.
Volkswagen E-golf seems to fit your description.
The “people don’t want to work anymore” rallying cry has always confused me. Who ever wanted to work in the first place?
I love everything about this picture, thank you for sharing. Seeing all the different mushrooms that come and go throughout the day is one of my favorite parts of spring.
Lucky he is term limited as governor.
I imagine goat cheese would also be good, but I just really like goat cheese.
With a maximum out of pocket, the second surgery in a year is usually free. The hard part is paying off the first one.
Based on the amount of research and awareness attention it gets, I would argue even this one exception does not apply.
Coincidentally soy is one of my favorite home cooking ingredients! Tofu, TVP, and especially soy curls.
Yes, I was mostly referencing calories, and more specifically referencing fast food salads. You’re right that even if the calories are equivalent the micronutrient value of the salad is likely better.
And don’t forget that salad likely has the nutrition of a big mac!
One issue is that processed foods are made to be hyperpalatable. Pair that with agriculture subsidies that make meat and sugar (corn) cheaper than they should be and you have a recipe for an obesity crisis.
I believe reallocating those subsidies to healthier foods would be a great step towards fixing the issue, but healthy foods at the grocery store being cheap doesn’t really compete with the convenience of fast food.
Slime mold would like to have a drooly word.
Sorry, my comment was unrelated to the comic. I just really like homemade kettle corn.
You really need to experience homemade kettle corn. It’s a bit of a process, and way more work than just popping a bag in the microwave, but it’s absolutely delicious.
What’s the point of those types of bots, though? I guess they’re just trying to have vaguely genuine looking accounts to use for some future purpose, maybe political or advertising related.
This looks really promising. I’m interested to see what QoL changes are coming for this cycle.
