I would argue that clocks don’t really run faster on the moon. What runs faster on the moon is time. The clocks tick at the exact same speed, it is just that time itself is running faster on the moon than it runs on earth. So from the earth’s perspective the clock is going faster when it really isn’t.
The more the better, the universe would be better off without twitter.
I’m not entirely certain that I care that much. It would be different if they were torturing them. But this wouldn’t be happening at all if Russia would respect Ukraine’s sovereignty.

Sorry, I was commenting on the quote form Noam Chomsky, not specifically the article. I agree the article was well balanced and covered both sides decently. I should have been more specific.
I can see how there would be some concerns about how to use it in an academic setting. And it does allow an easy way to cheat in some circumstances. But this just seems like fearmongering to me.
I still can’t believe they had the nerve to actually arrest a journalist. Like don’t they know that is the kind of the thing that creates SCOTUS cases? And it wasn’t one of those "auditors’ going around filming police who don’t have the money to fund a big case, it was from an actual news organization. They are in for a big lawsuit.
Yes. But to make up that difference, clocks on the moon would have to tick slower than clocks on earth to keep syncronized. Or they could do what you suggested, and add a leap second in every once and a while.
