Exactly. When I resodded our front lawn I kept finding building materials. I guess it’s common for construction workers to bury the trash when building a house rather than dispose of it correctly.

No kidding. They were processing an illegally hunted deer when officers arrived, plus their home had a bunch more…
Officers also found mountain lion claws, taxidermied animals including a ringtail cat and a barn owl, an illegally hunted spike buck and several illegally hunted deer with tagging violations, the agency said. Ringtail cats are a protected species in California, and mounted raptors like the barn owl are illegal to possess without state and federal permits.
Talk about a slap on the wrist. They should have been fined for each piece of evidence of their illegal hunting.

9·21 days agoOh, definitely not what I thought or intended. Thanks for the heads up and kind reply. For clarity, I believe those cameras shouldn’t be installed or used, especially under this administration.
There is a question on the constitutionality of automated surveillance technology, the type of data that is being collected, who has access to them, and how they are using it. Additionally, some other concerns I can think of off the top of my head are:
- Are the taxpayers funding this?
- Is my data being sold?
- If so, who is profiting?
- Where is supporting data showing this type of surveillance is needed?
- What demographical areas are these cameras more prevalent in? Aka are there a subset of peoples being targeted by this type of surveillance?
- What are the rules and regulations agencies need to follow with the data they capture with this tool?
I drink the room temp coffee as my punishment. Sometimes I’ll even drink yesterday’s cup, too.
