My guess is a judge would view the typo based on intended meaning. You can defijirely get away with paying the same rent as before the lease expiry, but paying nothing may be a dangerous game.
And even then I could see plenty of asshole judges going “clearly they didn’t mean that” and ruling in their favor anyway.
I don’t think it’s unreasonable to identify “obvious” typos and treat them with their intended meaning. But yeah, rich people probably get this more charitable interpretation more often.
I hope Trudeau steps down and makes Freeland PM. If there’s any silver lining with a conservative majority is it may end both their political careers.
I was frustrated by how much desk space my monitor used so I set it to 27" mode in the settings and now there are big black bars on each side. Someone good at computer please help.
I’ll have to do work??
I always feel so guilty when something I ordered gets shipped using Fedex ground. Not even inaminate objects deserve to spend a night in Saskatchewan.
TAKE MY SHIT JOB IF YOU WANT JUST DON’T MAKE EVERYTHING ELSE WORSE AS WELLL
I’m guessing since he mentione cinema sins it was less about noticing styles and more nitpicking “plot holes” and continuity errors.
CinemaSins must pay for its crimes.
Seeing if the output improves when I threaten to kill the llm
Tuna smells so gross dude how do people eat that shit wtf.
Calling the heart and stroke foundation and asking what services they offer.
Classic Italy.
Gonna make a chatbot that management types in a task to do that is already automated and it says it did the task that some script is gonna do soon anyway. Gonna claim it’s all AI and see if I can get a promotion.
I don’t think anyone has announced this yet. But the software engineering team can only hold back management for so long after keys are jingled in front of their face.
Oh man, just realized some streaming company is going to use an llm to replace their recommender systems, which are already barely improving on “just tell people what’s popular right now”, and it’s gonna cost more, and perform basically the same except make up shows sometimes.
Everytime I hear someone say “acshually abstraction is good” I think that while a lot of it is miraculous software engineering, at the end of the day we have near limitless computational power and everything runs like shit.
Edit: I spent a few weeks at my laat job making my code run with memory constraints in ming and my boss kept insisting we could just run it in a bigger aws instance. It wasn’t that hard to get it to work within the constraints and now there’s no danger that one day it’ll crash because of an unexpectedly larger dataset. Idk why the expectation is we be lazy with this stuff
