Yeah, I found WT1 insanely easy and WT2 insanely tough. It’s a frustrating jump and it sounds like the WT3/4 jumps are each pretty brutal as well 🥴

You could try Decrepify curse to slow the mobs down? That’s about where my usefulness ends though lol
Is you don’t have enough corpses, then you might try re-speccing for Reap as the basic with the ability to generate a corpse from that. Blood mist can also generate corpses. From there, corpse tendrils is really good for aoe vulnerable before a flurry of corpse explosions. I think i saw a build that was a combo of infinimist and bone spear, so that might be worth checking out for a tweak or two.
I’m playing on PS5 and targeting seems pretty natural (I don’t know how to cycle mobs though if that’s a thing). Brol on WT2 was pretty beatable with my Necro (basically a cheap infinimost build - blood mist, shadow/aoe corpse tendrils/explosion). I really struggled with bosses as a bone spear build, which is why I changed it up and I haven’t really had any issues since.
I don’t follow local tv or social media either, but I find the newspaper to be pretty informative overall
I played a ton of D2 and didn’t particularly care for D3. D4 is better than D3 but it doesn’t live up to D2 for me. It could just be where I’m at in my life and not having the time or desire to grind, but late/end game is entirely unappealing to me. The campaign is intriguing so far (I’m in act 4 out of 6) but I’m not really enjoying the gameplay overall and I’m planning to return the game.
I’ll be picking up Baldur’s Gate 3 once it’s released. It’s not going to be D2 (which is what I thought I wanted out of D4), but I think it’ll be a better fit for what I actually want to play.
Don’t mind them. The game looks great and I can’t wait for it to drop 👏
What would a victory lap be in this context?
I can’t remember the name of the item, but the bag of beans can make for some proper insanity
Same here. I think I may just play through the campaign and return it though. I don’t feel any motivation to grind or play endgame content. It just isn’t really scratching the itch the same way that Diablo 2 did back in the day.
Happy to see that Jak is back. I’m sort of amazed they were able to keep enough episodes banked to seemingly have no interruptions in the main campaign
I don’t have much to offer in the way of suggestions, but it is genuinely relieving to know I’m not the only one with this kind of issue.
On top of noise reducing earplugs, I’d also suggest that you try to figure out ways you can reset your stress/overwhelm levels. For me, that can be listening to music on headphones (a predictable noise, which helps settle me) or taking a shower. You can work with your partner (or family/friends/neighbors) to support you in avoiding situations that are triggering (preparing dinner, for me). You can have activities ready to entertain your child while you take care of yourself (maybe an audiobook on headphones for them, coloring pages, sensory play, etc).
The game is about managing things and identifying when you start to get overwhelmed. There’s no silver bullet, but lots of little steps can make a huge impact.
Everything is looking normal for me on Apple Podcasts and on Patreon. Seems like Spotify is okay as well.
Agreed! It makes me feel so goofy carrying around a giant sword that I never actually swing at anything
Can confirm this is on bedrock as well
Literally a night and day difference in performance and stability! Thank you all for the hard work. To other users like me, consider reducing or replacing one of your lesser used subscriptions and directing that money to Lemmy. It’s much better served here if you ask me.
How do you know which community the user is from?
That design on the back is phenomenal
Why is that?
